Gnilman is an eco-solidarity structure that aims to develop the local economy in a sustainable way in the Sine-Saloum region in Senegal, within an eco-camp. It is a life project for women and their families, which respects the principles of equity and solidarity with local consumption, employment and training of the neighbouring population. The camp also welcomes tourists and trainees with an eco-responsible conscience who wish to immerse themselves in Senegalese culture.
This project is launched in partnership with the Pan-African Alliance for the Development of Women’s Entrepreneurship (ALPADEF), which aims to support African women from the diaspora or the continent in their entrepreneurial projects and training.
As this association is oriented towards agro-ecology, ALPADEF is involved in training women in this field, using the Gnilman camp as a place for practical exercise and experimentation. Part of the funds collected by Gnilman will be transferred to ALPADEF in order to support the training of women (at least 30%).
